Radiant Barrier Insulation is a sheet made up of a single layer of woven polyethylene that is metalized in a single process, yielding high delamination resistance. Radiant Barriers helps reduce air conditioning costs in the summer, while reducing heating costs in the winter, by reflecting radiant energy. In addition to energy savings, a radiant barrier can significantly enhance a home’s level of comfort. The perforated version can be used as a house wrap, helping to prevent water and air infiltration through residential wall assemblies, while at the same time allowing for the transmission of water vapor.
