The DRIERITE Drum Adapter provides convenient means for connecting either the disposable cartridge (No. 40451) or the refillable vent drier (No. 50068) to a storage drum. Refer to the Technical Data Section drawing. It is easy to place a vent drier system on any drum. Just install the drum adapter in the bung of the drum. Puncture both ends of the disposable cartridge (or remove plugs from the refillable vent drier). Insert the cartridge (or refillable vent drier) into the rubber hose and tighten the hose clamps. Once installed, material can be withdrawn from the drum without being contaminated with moisture. The Drum Adapter will thread into either a 2″ or a 3/4″ bung. The Cartridge Holder (No. 50003) is an alternative to the Drum Adapter and provides a hose barb connection for 1/4″ and 3/8″ flexible tubing.
